Kumudi Social Foundation is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to serving society through initiatives in education, women empowerment, healthcare, livelihood development, environmental sustainability, disaster relief, community welfare, and other charitable activities.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all donations, contributions, and payments made through our official website or any of our authorized payment channels.
By making a donation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.
1. General Policy
All donations made to Kumudi Social Foundation are voluntary charitable contributions intended to support our social development initiatives.
Since donated funds are allocated immediately toward charitable projects, administrative expenses, beneficiary support, and community development activities, all donations are considered final and non-refundable, except in the limited circumstances specifically mentioned in this Policy.
2. Strict No Refund Policy
Once a donation has been successfully processed and acknowledged by Kumudi Social Foundation:
The donation cannot be cancelled.
The donation cannot be withdrawn.
The donor shall not be entitled to claim a refund, whether full or partial.
Change of mind after making a donation shall not constitute a valid reason for cancellation or refund.
Dissatisfaction regarding the Foundation's activities, projects, campaigns, or utilization of funds shall not create any right to claim a refund.
Donations made voluntarily for charitable purposes are irrevocable once accepted by the Foundation.
All donations are utilized solely for the charitable objectives of Kumudi Social Foundation.
3. Limited Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests may be considered only under the following exceptional circumstances:
Duplicate payment caused by a technical error.
Multiple transactions processed unintentionally for the same donation.
Incorrect amount debited due to a verified payment gateway malfunction.
Unauthorized transaction resulting from proven banking or payment gateway fraud, subject to verification.
All such requests shall be reviewed individually.
Approval of a refund request shall remain entirely at the sole discretion of Kumudi Social Foundation after verification of all supporting documents.
Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.
4. Refund Request Procedure
If you believe your donation falls within one of the exceptional circumstances listed above, you must submit a written request within 7 (Seven) calendar days from the date of the transaction.
Your request should include:
Donor Name
Registered Mobile Number
Email Address
Donation Amount
Transaction ID
Payment Gateway Name
Date and Time of Transaction
Payment Receipt or Screenshot
Reason for requesting the refund
Incomplete requests may not be processed.
5. Verification Process
All refund requests undergo an internal verification process.
The Foundation may require additional documents, payment confirmations, bank statements, identity verification, or communication with the payment gateway before making any decision.
The Foundation reserves the absolute right to accept or reject any refund request.
The decision of Kumudi Social Foundation shall be final and binding.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds shall not be granted in any of the following situations:
Change of personal preference.
Change of financial circumstances.
Accidental decision by the donor after successful payment.
Dissatisfaction with Foundation programs or activities.
Donations already allocated to charitable projects.
Anonymous donations.
Cash donations.
Donations made through fundraising campaigns after funds have been utilized.
Failure to read the Donation Policy before contributing.
Requests received after the prescribed time limit.
Donations made voluntarily without any technical or banking error.
7. Tax Benefit and Donation Receipt
Where applicable, donors may receive an official donation receipt and tax exemption documentation under the applicable provisions of the Income Tax Act.
If a tax benefit certificate or donation receipt has already been issued and used for claiming tax benefits, the Foundation may refuse any refund request unless otherwise required by applicable law.
8. Payment Gateways
Online donations may be processed through secure third-party payment service providers.
Kumudi Social Foundation is not responsible for:
Banking network failures
Payment gateway downtime
UPI server issues
Internet interruptions
Delays caused by banks
Transaction failures beyond our control
In case the amount is debited but the donation is not successfully received by the Foundation, the donor should first contact their respective bank or payment service provider.
9. Cancellation Policy
Once a donation has been successfully completed, it cannot be cancelled.
The Foundation begins allocating donations toward charitable purposes immediately after successful receipt.
Accordingly, cancellation requests shall generally not be accepted.
10. Fraud Prevention
Kumudi Social Foundation reserves the right to reject any refund request suspected to involve:
Identity fraud
Payment fraud
False documentation
Chargeback abuse
Misrepresentation
Cybercrime or unauthorized activities
Where necessary, the Foundation may report fraudulent activities to the appropriate law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
11. Changes to this Policy
Kumudi Social Foundation reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.
The revised version shall become effective immediately upon publication on this website.
